Private practice Registered Dietitian services are not covered by the OHIP system. However, you may have extended health care benefits for a Registered Dietitian and should call to inquire about your individual health insurance plan (examples Green Shield, Manulife, The Great-West Life, Sun Life, etc.). Many clients also pay for services directly and your receipt is tax deductible in Ontario.

Shelley Amato is a Registered Dietitian within the province of Ontario. She can accept clients from other provinces in Canada with the exceptions of British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec and PEI.
