Shelley Amato

Registered Dietitian and Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner specializing in gut health, weight loss, and lifestyle medicine to prevent and manage chronic disease.

I treat every body as an individual, and my role is to find out what unique combination of support your body needs for optimal health, including healthy eating habits, lifestyle changes, the right supplements and stress management.

I have over 20 years of dietetic experience and frequently work collaboratively with health care providers. But sometimes there are missing pieces to that puzzle that require deeper investigative work from an integrative and functional lens.

My approach is science-based, research-intensive and completely personalized — and I love solving simple, complex and hard-to-treat cases. My clients have often tried a dozen diets and been to many specialists before finding me, and appreciate the time I take to explore on a deeper level the causes and solutions to their problem. There is no one right answer. It’s a process and a journey, one I’m excited to take with you.

I have also built a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who share my passion for getting to the root of health challenges and providing comprehensive care. Together, we aim to help you achieve lasting solutions.
